Robert Nuovo is a composer and guitarist in New York City. No stranger to the music scene, Rob has been performing and composing in the Northeastern United States for several decades. He’s received accolades for playing “with purpose in every note” and for his “natural musical intuition for phrasing.” Praised for his brilliant ear and creative melodies, he’s built a strong presence by performing at NYC’s jazz hot-spots as a guest artist with ensembles as well as a soloist, premiering many original compositions – including The Bitter End (regularly), Zebulon, Spike Hill, The Jazz Bakery, The Fire Place, The Bedford Fusion Café and The Rabbit Hole.
Rob was recently featured on 72nd Street, the debut album of vocalist, Lizzie Lee - recorded at the iconic Van Gelder Studios along with Joe Farnsworth, Stacy Dillard, Joe Block and John Webber.
